Jordan Addison's Cryptic Post Leaves Vikings Fans Concerned Ahead of NFL Trade Deadline

The Minnesota Vikings were one of the biggest surprises of the NFL season. They were one of two undefeated teams, along with the Kanas City Chiefs, at 5-0. But following their bye in Week 6, the Vikings have hit a wall, losing back-to-back games for the first time this season.

Jordan Addison's Cryptic Post Leaves Fans Concerned

Things appear to be spiraling even more for the Vikings following their 20-30 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night. Vikings star wide receiver Jordan Addison's recent social media post suggests that he wants out of Minnesota ahead of the NFL trade deal.

As you might expect, Vikings fans were concerned and expressed their worry on social media.

"Jordan Addison is a baller. It would be a huge blunder if the Vikings lost him to a trade," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"Just throw him the ball once in a while Sam [Darnold]," another fan added.

Justin Jefferson Gets Honest on Recent Stretch of Performances

After the Vikings win over the New York Jets in London, star wide receiver Justin Jefferson declared himself the best in the world at his position. And Jefferson may indeed be right. But that title can be a heavy cross to bear as he often draws double coverages from defenses, which naturally impacts his stats.

Prior to his 115-yard performance in their loss to the Rams, Jefferson had not reached the century mark for receiving yards since their Week 2 win over the San Francisco 49ers where he had four receptions for 133 yards. It's something that was weighing heavy on the mind of the star wideout going into their Thursday Night Football matchup.

"I'm definitely sick of having these 80-, 90-yard games. I definitely have to get over that hump of 100 yards. That's definitely my plan," Jefferson said via the Associated Press.

"If you see it on tape, the explosive plays are all over the field, not just me. They're all over the field, and we've just got to be dialed in, all 11, to execute those plays and to give Sam a little bit more time. So it's going to be one of these games that we're going to show the world what we're really capable of, and hopefully it's Thursday night."
