The New England Patriots reloaded in a big way after their Super Bowl win, adding Brandin Cooks among other playmakers in what should be the most loaded team since Bill Belichick took over.
Despite many predictions for an unbeaten season, Julian Edelman is doing his best Bill Belichick and drowning out the speculation:
"You can't worry about what other people say, honestly, I mean, there's no script to this thing. There's no camera. This isn't Hollywood. This is real life. When you go out and play in the National Football League, it's one of those things where it's even stupid to think about that. It's never been done. You don't really want to talk about it. my focus is more on trying to get ready for the season, trying to learn your teammates, form you identity. (The 19-0 talk is) stupid. That's it."
Edelman is a former seventh-round pick out of Kent State. He's developed into one of Tom Brady's go-to receivers during his eight-year career. Edelman has more than 4,500 yards receiving and 24 touchdowns over his tenure. He's a two-time Super Bowl champion.
