Kevin Hart is a great stand-up comedian, and has been pretty funny in his movies as well. He's taking his talents to commercials again, where he has proven he excels. In this particular one from Hyundai for the Super Bowl this weekend, he plays an overprotective dad who acts surprisingly cool when he lets his daughter go out on a first date with a young man. Hart gives the kids his car for the night.
Why does he give up his awesome new Kia? Because it has a "Car Finder" app on it so he can follow them all night. The kids hit up all the classic first date venues like a carnival, movie and a nice makeout spot overlooking the city (too classic). But who's there to make sure no hanky panky goes down? Poppa Kevin Hart.
Hart may have gone to extremes to make sure his daughter stayed his little girl, but at least he didn't get too snoopy with it and trail the kids the entire way without the help of GPS tracking. That would have been creepy, right?
