Kicker claims he can nail an 84-yard bomb, gets told to put up or shut up

An all-expense paid vacation? Can I try?

Talk about putting your money where your mouth is.

Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker is one of the best in the business—if not the best. That said, not even he could pull off this ridiculous stunt that he claims he can. According to 9News.com, Tucker said he could hit an 84-yard field goal in Denver if the conditions were right.

What on Earth would force anyone to make a proclamation so bold? Tucker said last season against Denver, in warmups, he hit the crossbar from 85 yards. Hitting an 84-yarder makes sense then, right?

Maybe, but Broncos' Brandon McManus isn't buying it.

"I will give him an all-expense paid trip if he can do it,'' said McManus. "I'll pay for his flight, his hotel, if he wants to come out here and do it. I'll kick with him, I'll witness it and I'll vouch to the world that he can do it.''

Tucker's career-long field goal is 61. Even if the conditions were perfect, could Denver's altitude effect that much change in the distance the ball travels? Doubtful, but if Tucker accepts the challenge, McManus will be buying it—and everything else on Tucker's free vacation.
