Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins had one of the best games of his career in a 36-30 overtime thriller vs. the Tampa Bay Bucs on Thursday Night Football.

And apparently the 36-year-old quarterback's go-to postgame celebratory meal is Waffle House.
That is to say, Cousins joined the "Dan Patrick Show" on Friday to talk about the game last night, and the well-known host, at the beginning of the interview, questioned the quarterback's whereabouts, as the background looked to be a parking lot.
Apparently, Cousins asked his seven-year-old son Cooper, what he wanted to have for lunch, and he said "Waffle House."
Then the 13-year veteran quarterback went on to mention that Cooper didn't even get to see the ending of the comeback win, as he fell asleep in the fourth quarter.
All in all, he probably had to watch the highlights of his dad's record breaking performance of 509 passing yards (42-for-58) and four touchdowns.

Notably, coming into this game, Cousins already had two game-winning drives this season (9/16 vs. Eagles; 9/29 vs. Saints). Now he has added yet another one, to give him his 31st of his career.
The legendary performance from Kirk ended on a 45-yard touchdown catch-and-run to journey man wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge, who actually just checked in for that one play.

All in all, after signing a four-year/$180 million contract, Cousins has proven himself once again. As he currently leads the NFL this season with 1,373 passing yards (with a one week head start), while being third in passing touchdowns (8).
