Kubiak provided the confirmation to NFL Network's Stacey Dales immediately after the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl 60.
He first talked around his future in the league before outright saying he will join the Las Vegas Raiders as head coach.
"Hell yeah, I'm going [to Las Vegas.]"

"You guys know I'm going to Las Vegas, so I'm fired up about it," Kubiak said when Dales made a comment about no answers being provided on the network.
"Hell yeah, I'm going. Of course I'm going," he added.
Not that Kubiak heading to Las Vegas is a surprise. He has remained the favorite to land the job for weeks; the Raiders just haven't been able to make a move due to the playoff schedule.
The Seahawks offensive coordinator took part in multiple interviews between an NFC championship game win over the Rival Rams and the Super Bowl 60 matchup with the Patriots. He sat down with both the Cardinals and the Raiders.
Reports said at one point that it was the 38-year-old's job to lose. Ultimately, the Raiders zeroed in on Kubiak and committed to making him the head coach. The team and the son of Super Bowl-winning coach Gary Kubiak just could not put pen to paper until after Super Bowl 60.
This confirmation now means that the Raiders will have a prominent offensive mind working with the next quarterback. The expectation is that this will be national champion Fernando Mendoza from the Indiana Hoosiers.
It also means that the Seahawks will have to find a new offensive coordinator, one who can work with veteran quarterback Sam Darnold and keep the team moving toward another appearance in the Super Bowl.
"I'm really happy for Klint. Without him, we wouldn't be here," Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald told NFL Network. "Happy for Klint, he's a world champ, and we'll see what happens in the next couple days."
