Lamar Jackson in Hot Water After 'Disasterclass' First Half vs. Bills in Divsional Matchup

The Baltimore Ravens are riding high after an NFL Wild Card over their division rival the Baltimore Ravens. But now comes a big test as they travel to Buffalo to take on Josh Allen and the Bills, who have been one of the hottest teams all season. And if they want to advance to the next round it will take a special performance from their starting quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Lamar Jackson Under Fire After Ugly First Half

Despite being in line to win the third NFL MVP award of his career, Lamar has historically struggled in the playoffs. After the Ravens win over the Steelers last weekend, he only has three playoff wins in his career.

Those postseason struggles continued on Sunday as Lamar gave up a fumble and threw an interception in the first half as the Ravens trailed the Bills 21-10 at halftime.

Fans unloaded on Jackson on Twitter.

"Lamar Jackson. Please. Not like this. Not on MLK Weekend," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"They need to get Lamar's mom on that sideline QUICKLY," another fan added.

Josh Allen Gets Candid on Week 4 Loss to Ravens

This is the second time that the Bills and Ravens faced off this season. Buffalo hosted Baltimore in Week 4 and the Ravens disposed of them easily 35-10. However, despite a blowout loss in October, Allen feels like that doesn't necessarily be the same result on Sunday. The Bills quarterback feels they have evolved as a team since then.

"I feel like we've grown quite a bit since that game. Obviously, we learned a lot from those moments. Going back and watching it, obviously, it wasn't our best effort. I felt like we didn't play our best football," Allen said.

However, the Bills star still acknowledged that they will have a tough task ahead of them when they face the Ravens.

"They have a really good team, too. They're playing this week for a reason, their defense the last eight to 10 weeks has been superb," Allen added. "Their offense is fantastic as well, they have a lot of studs over there, Lamar [Jackson], obviously. It's a tough team to play, regardless."

Bills head coach Sean McDermott echoed that same sentiment.

"They're a great football team," McDermott said. "They handled us pretty good the first go-around and they're certainly playing well, well-coached. [Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh] won a Super Bowl and comes from great pedigree, so it'll be a big challenge for us."
