Florida Atlantic coach Lane Kiffin apparently agrees with Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Lane Johnson's critique of the "Patriot Way."

Kiffin quote-tweeted Pro Football Talk's article regarding Johnson's comments made on Barstool Sports' Pardon My Take podcast last week.
During the interview, the recent Super Bowl champion called the New England Patriots a "fear-based organization" and said he would "much rather have fun and win a Super Bowl than be miserable and win five Super Bowls."

What's interesting is that Kiffin spent three seasons as Alabama's offensive coordinator before taking over at FAU. The Crimson Tide has been the college football program most closely associated with the Patriots in terms of both success and attention to detail from their respective head coaches.
Alabama coach Nick Saban worked under New England coach Bill Belichick during three seasons with the Cleveland Browns. Naturally, Kiffin's comment could be taken as a jab at his former boss, who routinely gave him "ass-chewings" on the Tide sidelines during offensive lapses, even if they occurred during big leads.
Either way, the coach is sure to get some attention for chiming in on Johnson's comments.
