Lions DB Cameron Sutton Sought By Police In Domestic Violence Case

Detroit Lions defensive back Cameron Sutton is being sought by authorities in Florida in an alleged domestic violence situation, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, via TMZ.

The accusations against Sutton came earlier this month, which is when authorities said he may have been involved in a violent situation involving a woman in Florida.

"According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, the alleged victim in the case called cops at around 4:52 AM on March 7 claiming she had just been roughed up by Sutton," TMZ wrote. "During the call, cops say she told dispatch she was in fear for her life."

Sutton reportedly was gone by the time the police arrived. Authorities have been unable to track him down since, with Sutton's phone shut off, TMZ noted.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office posted a note to Twitter/X announcing that it is on the lookout for Sutton and is seeking the public's assistance.

"He is wanted for Aggravated Battery - Domestic Violence," the post read. "He may be driving a Jeep Grand Wagoneer with a plate number of FL-AZ33QB.

"If you have any information on the whereabouts of Cameron Sutton, please call 813-247-8200."

Police first attempted to locate Sutton at his residence in Pinellas County, TMZ reported, citing sources. They then attempted to call him — also to no avail.
