Miami's Tyreek Hill Records Touchdown Celebration of the Year

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is not only one of the most explosive players in the NFL, he's also one of the league's more entertaining players.

Late in the second quarter with the Dolphins and Panthers tied at 14, Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa went deep and connected with Hill on a 41-yard touchdown to give the Dolphins a 21-14 lead.

While the big play was significant because it put the Dolphins ahead after trailing 14-0, it's what Hill did after he scored that stole the show.

After scoring, Hill grabbed the cell phone of someone standing behind the end zone who just so happened to be recording the play on the phone. Hill flipped the camera around so he was recording himself and then did a backflip.

Hill was obviously flagged for excessive celebration, but he did give NFL fans one of the best touchdown celebrations in recent memory.

Just moments after the play, Hill's selfie video was released on social media, and it was as good as you would expect it to be.

Hill is in his second season with the Dolphins after being traded from Kansas City following the 2021 season. In his first season with Miami, Hill caught 119 passes for 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns. For how impressive those numbers are, Hill may be having an even better season this year. Through five games, Hill snagged 36 catches for 651 yards and five touchdowns.

Since the trade, the Dolphins have become one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL, and the addition of Hill has been a major reason for that success. The Dolphins lead the NFL in scoring this season with a whopping  36.2 points per game, 8 points better than the second-place Philadelphia Eagles.

The Dolphins are looking to improve to 5-1 on the young season as Hill's score put them back in control against the 0-5 Panthers.
