Bills Mafia is making its voice heard. Following the firing of Sean McDermott, thousands of Buffalo fans have signed a Change.org petition calling for the team to bring him back.

As of Thursday afternoon, the petition had climbed past 29,000 signatures, fueled by frustration, disbelief and loyalty to the coach who helped reshape the franchise.
The petition, launched by longtime fan Maria Maisonet, describes the decision as "heartbreaking and baffling," praising McDermott's leadership, on-field success and connection to the Buffalo community. The message is simple. Do not tear down what was built.
McDermott was hired in 2017 and leaves Buffalo with a 98-50 regular season record. The Bills reached the playoffs in eight of his nine seasons and became a perennial AFC East contender, though they never broke through to reach the Super Bowl. This season ended with a 33-30 overtime loss to the Denver Broncos in the divisional round.
Owner Terry Pegula said the emotional state of the locker room after that game helped drive the decision, referencing quarterback Josh Allen and the pain he saw in players and coaches.
Meanwhile, Buffalo has already begun its search for a replacement, with names such as Joe Brady, Brian Daboll and Anthony Lynn in the mix. The Bills are one of six teams currently hunting for a new head coach.
But in Buffalo, at least for now, a large portion of the fan base is still campaigning for the old one.
