NBC is making broadcast changes to four primetime games this season

Mike Tirico to begin calling games for NBC.

Mike Tirico's jump from ESPN to NBC is finally about to show itself this season.

The former voice of Monday Night Football is set to call four games—-Green Bay/Washington Sun. Nov. 20, Pittsburgh/Indianapolis Thanksgiving night, Kansas City/Denver Sun. Nov. 27, and New York Giants/Philadelphia Thurs. Dec. 22.

The move is reportedly intended to give 72-year-old Al Michaels, the current voice of NBC football, some time off. Tirico will call the games with long-time NBC color commentator Chris Collinsworth.
