The three-part documentary series lands on Netflix on Dec. 17. It follows Rodgers as he recovers from the torn Achilles that ended his debut season with the Jets the same night it officially began. As the trailer shows, however, the series covers so much more.

The trailer for "Aaron Rodgers: Enigma" shows the veteran quarterback on the field, making plays for the Green Bay Packers. It shows him going through the recovery process as he prepares for a return to the New York Jets.

The trailer also shows Rodgers away from football, taking part in retreats in tropical locations. He appears to meditate at one point while someone uses a Tibetan singing bowl to create a sound bath experience.

Of course, the series also covers how Rodgers splits public opinion in his unique way.

"There's football legacy, and then there's character legacy," Rodgers says in the trailer. "When that ride comes to a stop, who are you going to be?"

According to the Netflix description, "Aaron Rodgers: Enigma" will feature some big personalities providing insight. The list includes Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre, a former teammate of Rodgers in Green Bay.

It also features Super Bowl champion running back Marshawn Lynch, who played college football with Rodgers, and politician Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who President-elect Donald Trump nominated to oversee the Department of Health and Human Services

The trailer for "Aaron Rodgers: Enigma" briefly shows RFK Jr. as he asks Rodgers if he has thought about going into politics.

The series will land on Netflix as Rodgers completes his first full season as the quarterback for the Jets. This is a season that has not gone as planned considering that the AFC East team has gone 3-9 through the first 12 games of the season while firing head coach Robert Saleh and GM Joe Douglas.
