Judging by first impressions, viewers are going to have plenty of fun watching the third season when it debuts on July 14.

The upcoming season of Quarterback will feature Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield, Tennessee Titans rookie draft pick Cam Ward, Washington Commanders signal-caller Jayden Daniels, and former Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco.

This group presents plenty of intrigue. It features one of the biggest personalities in the sport, Mayfield, a man who has mimicked former Browns GM John Dorsey. Mayfield has also hung out with Stone Cold Steve Austin, recreated historic Brett Favre photos, and made insurance commercials actually enjoyable.

He is a player who talks trash to defenders, fans, and former coaches. But he also delivers big plays on the field to back up the talk.

Flacco, for comparison, is a much quieter personality. Yet, he has provided glimpses of a dry sense of humor on occasions. He could be the secret star of Quarterback as he showcases a season in which he suited up for both the Browns and Bengals.

Ward, the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, is no stranger to camera crews. He provided insight into his life with the Tubi documentary, Zero Star: The Cam Ward Story. However, this series focused on his rise from being a zero-star high recruit out of high school to the first overall pick in the NFL Draft.

The Netflix documentary will show Ward as he becomes the face of an NFL franchise located in the heart of a incredibly popular city. It will show how he adapts to a new offensive system and how he leads the Titans through a 3-14 season. Quarterback will show how he was best able to deal with the struggles of his rookie season.

Finally, the Netflix series will highlight Daniels, a former LSU QB who became a superstar for the Commanders. However, this will not show his Pro Bowl season from 2024 in which he led the Commanders to NFC championship.

Instead, Quarterback will focus on a truly difficult season for the second-year player. Daniels only appeared in seven games due to injury while the Commanders struggled through a 5-12 season.

Like Ward, Daniels will show how he handles the trials and tribulations of the NFL. He will bare it all for the camera crews, much like teammate Marcus Mariota did during the first season of the Netflix series.
