According to an announcement, the six-time Super Bowl champions will be represented during the DTM showdown in Hockenheim, Germany, on Oct. 9-11. The No. 29 Land-Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R will have a red and blue scheme featuring the Patriots logos in multiple areas.

The doors will have Pat Patriot's head while the rear fenders will have the Patriots script logo. This latter logo will also be on the hood of the race car, which will feature Denmark's Bastian Buus as the driver during the races on Saturday and Sunday.

The Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) is a premier sports car racing series based in Germany. The teams compete across Europe while driving cars from a variety of manufacturers. This includes McLaren, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, BMW, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Ford.

The New England Patriots launched a partnership with the DTM last year while continuing the NFL's global expansion. This partnership also provides an opportunity for the NFL team to hype up an upcoming International Game.

The Patriots and the Lions will face off in Munich, Germany, on Nov. 15. They will play at FC Bayern Munich Arena in what will be the sixth regular-season NFL game held in the country.

"We are delighted about this collaboration with the New England Patriots and the striking new design for our Porsche," said Team Principal Christian Land ahead of the weekend in Hockenheim.

"The Patriots are one of the most popular NFL teams in Germany and bring tremendous appeal with them. Together, we aim to expand the reach of both sports and leverage synergies between the teams."

Fans heading to Hockenheim for the race weekend will have multiple opportunities to get the NFL experience. The fan zone will feature photo opportunities with Pat Patriot, games of cornhole played on actual turf from Gillette Stadium, and a passing skills challenge.
