One of the best quarterbacks of his time, Peyton Manning retired from the NFL just a few months ago.
According to The Big Lead, Manning's time away from the game might not be for every long.
While an offer reportedly stands for Manning to join Jim Nantz in the booth for CBS (where he'd be assumed to take Phil Simms' spot), the quarterback legend has spoken with John Madden about what his next move should be, according to TBL.
Instead of taking a spot in the booth, the report notes Madden told Manning to stay away from the booth and instead either go the "Elway way" or snag a piece of ownership.
Manning the general manager makes sense, and the quarterback has been linked to Tennessee Titans ownership in the past.
