During the Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets game at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, star wide receiver Tyreek Hill apparently didn't want to play all four quarters.

New video footage has emerged which showed the moment teammates realized Hill was going to sit out the rest of the regular season finale.
With 3:25 left in the third quarter, the broadcast mics picked up Dolphins wideout Jaylen Waddle asking his counterpart, "Aye Cheetah, you done?"

Even though he had no injury, Hill never came back in the game. That is, the 30-year-old receiver finished with 2 catches for 20 yards before sitting out.
One fan wrote his criticisms of Hill on X after seeing Hill essentially quit on his team.
"I found this nugget while rewatching the game. This wasn't just quitting on his team, it was quitting on everyone who believed in him: the fans, the coaches, and even his family. The moment Waddle asked Reek if he was done, it became painfully clear, he gave up. That choice speaks volumes, and none of it is good."
The Jets ended up winning the game, 32-20, and after the loss Tyreek spoke to the media in which he stated, "I'm out."
“I’m out bro.”

"I have to do what's best for me, whether that's here or somewhere else. I'm opening that door, I'm out. It was great playing here, but I've got to do what's best for my career. I'm too much of a competitor to be just out there."
Fans were not too happy with this, as one user wrote on X:
"The fact of the matter is that Tyreek Hill quit on his team Sunday, and publicly said he wanted out. As a captain and a 'leader,' that should never happen. The Miami Dolphins should still trade him this offseason."

The Dolphins front office and coaching staff met with Hill following the game, and head coach Mike McDaniel said they "cleared the air." Furthermore, he noted that Hill took accountability for this unacceptable behavior and that it "won't be tolerated in the future."

In his ninth season, the 8x Pro Bowler had 81 catches for 959 yards and six touchdowns.
Hill is currently signed to the Dolphins on a three-year/$90 million deal (2024-2026), which means he more than likely will be back, as the team hopes to improve on their 8-9 record heading into next season.
