At the 2025 NFL combine on Tuesday, GM Joe Schoen told reporters he was happy for his former player.

"I'm happy for Saquon, obviously he went on to win the Super Bowl, and we wish him nothing but the best. Always going to evaluate all the decisions you make. And we were in a different place in our build."

Many might remember the Hard Knocks clips, which showed GM Joe Schoen and owner Jim Mora talking about the possibilities of Barkley joining a rival team if they didn't resign him.

During his first season in an Eagles uniform, Barkley set career-highs, as he led the NFL in rushing (2,005 yards) in addition to contributing 15 total touchdowns.

In light of Mora's comments, saying: "I'll have a tough time sleeping if Saquon goes to Philadelphia."

Barkley seemingly took a jab at his former boss, as he appeared in a Unisom sleeping commercial after his record-breaking season.

In the comical ad, the 3x Pro Bowler said, "I heard some of you were having trouble sleeping, so I wrote you a lullaby: Rockabye baby, awake in your bed, as the thought of 2,000 swirls in your head. It sure is tough to lose sleep over football. Not for me, though; goodnight to you all."
