Brown recently joined his friend, a Twitch streamer, for an online session of the football video game. It was during this session that the streamer asked Brown how he was doing. The answer surprised some viewers.

"I mean, no," Brown said while laughing. "Where have you been? Family good? Yeah. Everything else? No. It's been a s—-show." He later told people to get rid of him in fantasy football.

Now, Brown didn't officially appear during the Twitch stream, but he confirmed he made these comments during a locker room media session with reporters. He also clarified that he's not going to apologize for anything he said.

"It's the same things I've been saying all season," Brown said. "So me making light of my situation on Twitch with my friend, that's something I'm not apologizing for. Because, like I said, if you have eyes, you can see that."

The season has not featured Brown in a prominent role on the Eagles offense. The team has taken the lead in the NFC East with a 7-2 record, but the passing offense only ranks 25th with an average of 191.7 yards per game.

Brown only has 31 catches for 408 yards and three touchdowns after eight games. He is averaging 51.0 yards per game, by far the lowest mark of his seven-year career. His previous career lows were 63 catches for 869 yards and five touchdowns during the 2021 season, his final year with the Tennessee Titans. Brown only appeared in 13 games that season.

The former Ole Miss receiver clarified during the locker room media session that he sees the offense struggling this season. He just wants to contribute and help it improve.

He said that this issue is not frustration due to a lack of targets. The frustration stems from the team needing to adapt after winning the Super Bowl and needing to continue getting better.

"After the game, I said all the right answers, and y'all still made a story," Brown added while further discussing the Twitch stream. "In that moment where I'm just talking to my friend, having fun with my friend, I'm not apologizing for that.

"Because like I said, if you have eyes, you can see that. It's not that I was throwing anybody under the bus. I'm literally trying to laugh through this s—-. This s—- is tough. But I'm trying to make fun of the situation and to try to get through it. It is what is is, man."
