The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles rivalry has extended to an elementary school in Camden, New Jersey as young football fans have broken out some boxing gloves.

Fox29's Alex Holley posted a video on X that showed an elementary school hallway lined with standup punching bags. Each one had a poster featuring a player from the Dallas Cowboys.

As a Fox reporter walked down the hallway with a microphone, these young fans pummeled the bags. Each time a picture fell onto the ground, the elementary students continued attacking. Some stomped on the photos of the Cowboys players while others just continued punching.

Meanwhile, adults wearing Eagles jerseys jumped up and down excitedly. The field reporter for the Fox station also got in the action while stomping on the photos. This is how they chose to celebrate the upcoming game between the NFC East rivals.

"I mean, Philly is known for booing Santa Clause, this isn't surprising," one person posted on X after seeing the video. Countless others weighed in while taking sides in this debate.

Some social media users applauded the move and expressed their disdain for the Cowboys. Others disagreed and said that "The City of Brotherly Love" was not an accurate motto for Philadelphia. Some just said the news story resembled a sitcom.

"This why Philly full of dummies," another person said on social media, referencing reports that more than 50% of adults in Philadelphia are considered functionally illiterate.

Pre-game festivities aside, it's hard to deny that this battle between the NFC East teams will not have the same stakes as in past seasons. The Eagles lead the division with an 8-2 record. The Cowboys are in second place, but they enter the weekend at 4-5-1.

The Eagles are on a four-game winning streak. If they beat the Cowboys and reach nine wins on the season, they will move one step closer to clinching the division crown. This would also all but eliminate the Cowboys from playoff contention.
