While the popular picks remain the New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers or Arizona Cardinals, at least one analyst has possibly the least likely selection to take home the Vince Lombardi trophy.
Senior analyst Sam Monson at analytics-based football website Pro Football Focus went the "big-money payoff route," in taking the Bills.
His reasoning? Monson believes Buffalo can get a head start on the Tom Brady-less New England Patriots, that the Ryan brothers should make the defense better and Tyrod Taylor has more weapons.
That first one might be right, but let's not forget that Rob Ryan headed the worst passing defense in the NFL last season in New Orleans. Also, the only addition to the Bills offense would be Reggie Bush, who hasn't looked quite himself since 2013. And he probably won't be a huge help to Tyrod Taylor and Buffalo's downfield passing attack.
Just an FYI, the Bills currently stand at 75-1 odds for winning the Super Bowl. You've probably done worse things with your money.
