Veteran NFL analyst John Clayton weighed in on the NFL over the next three years with 30 predictions, via ESPN.

For the Dallas Cowboys, the first could happen this year, but it depends on how healthy quarterback Tony Romo stays.
"As long as Tony Romo stays healthy — and Dallas Cowboys fans are praying for just that — running back Ezekiel Elliott should be the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2016. Because he can be a three-down player, Elliott should rush for at least 1,200 yards this season."
While that's not as much of a bold prediction, the notion that Romo could hang them up after this season or next, is a bit of a shocker.
"By 2018, the Cowboys will have to go into a rebuilding mode. Tony Romo could be retired by then. While they will still have a great offensive line for years to come, the defense won't have much talent left."
Much of this depends on how Romo's collarbone (which has been broken three times now) heals and how it holds up. If Elliott can take the pressure off Romo and he has more time to operate, the Cowboys could be in business.
Otherwise, the rebuild might be put into process that much quicker.
