NFL Fans Slam Chris Collinsworth During Chiefs, Falcons Sunday Night Football

The Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons were the headliners for Week 3 of Sunday Night Football. But NBC analyst Chris Collinsworth was the talk of the town during the broadcast.

Fans Slam Chris Collinsworth During Sunday Night Football

Collinsworth has earned a reputation for being enamored with Mahomes. And honestly, who can blame the guy? He has already won three championships and three Super Bowl MVP awards in his short career.

But still, some fans don't like that Collinsworth isn't shy about being one of Mahomes' biggest fans. And during Sunday Night Football they showed their disdain for the NBC analyst.

"I'm just trying to find someone who loves me as much as Chris Collinsworth loves Patrick Mahomes," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"Chris Collinsworth is insufferable there was nothing "Magical" about that play lol it was a routine throw with the QB rolling from the pocket. Wipe your m**** bud," another fan added.

"I was tired of hearing Chris Collinsworth kiss Patrick Mahomes butt even before the game started," another fan said.

"Between the Sunday Night Baseball booth and Chris Collinsworth on Sunday Night Football I'm watching two live games in silence," another fan noted.

"Listening to Chris Collinsworth is genuinely painful," another fan said.

Andy Reid Goes Mum on Pacheco Injury Timetable

The Kansas City Chiefs came into the season already thin on offense after losing wide receiver Marquise "Hollywood" Brown to injury. And that offensive core got even more thin during their Week 2 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Running back Isaiah Pacheco fractured his fibula.

NBC Sports sideline reporter Melisssa Stark said that the star running back heard a "crack" after getting rolled up on a play in the second half.

After having successful surgery in Charlotte earlier this week, Pacheco is scheduled to be out for at least 6-8 weeks. But the latest report from Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid does not sound too promising. When talking with reporters about Pacheco's timetable to return, Reid said he could not even guarantee it would be this season.

"I can't give you a time when he'll return," Reid said. "We'll just see if it's this season or next season."
