San Francisco 49ers quarterback has not made many friends in the past few days after he decided to sit for the national anthem during a preseason game. He made the situation even more volatile by giving police brutality and people needing to be held accountable as reasons for not standing during the anthem.

There has been plenty of outrage from other NFL players as well as veterans who thought it was completely disrespectful for him to take his "stand" against the anthem. There are those who have come to his aid and supported him through this including a Veterans for Kaepernick group that has a hashtag trending on Twitter.

It seems that players aren't the only people railing against the 49ers QB though as several NFL executives are speaking out and gave some quotes to Bleacher Report's Mike Freeman.
"I don't want him anywhere near my team," one front office executive said. "He's a traitor."
"He has no respect for our country," one team executive said. "F—k that guy."
Those are some pretty strong reactions to Kaepernick's views on sitting for the national anthem and the seven executives who spoke to Freeman believe that 90 to 95 percent of NFL front offices felt the same way they did. While there's no way of actually seeing if that number is right, the ones who agree with Kaepernick or at least aren't as bothered haven't come out and said as much.

One executive said he hasn't seen this much collective dislike among front office members regarding a player since Rae Carruth. Curruth is still in jail for plotting to kill his pregnant girlfriend at the time. Another said that if an owner asked him to sign Kaepernick, he would consider resigning, rather than do it.

All of the executives told Freeman that they believe the 49ers will release Kaepernick and he won't play another down in the NFL. A similar thing happened to former Vikings kicker Chris Kluwe who took on a strong stance about gay rights. He said that he believes he was banned from the NFL for those views.
Kaepernick hasn't broken any laws or NFL rules and has the right to sit during the anthem. On the flip side of that coin, teams have every right to dislike him for it and not sign him to a deal, which seems pretty irrational considering the kind of thugs teams go out and sign every year. Guys who rape people, abuse their significant others and are accused of murder consistently find jobs in this league, but people get more inflamed by someone who won't stand during a national anthem —- a right given to every American by the way. That makes absolutely no sense and the NFL still has quite a few things to learn before condemning Kaepernick as a "heretic" or "traitor."
