Bowles reportedly did not travel with the team to New England, and assistant head coach Mike Caldwell will reportedly take his place on Saturday, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Bowles is the fourth head coach to take a hospital trip, following Mike Zimmer, Gary Kubiak and Bruce Arians.
