NFL head coach Pete Carroll reportedly admitted the one coaching job he always wanted

Well how about that.

Pete Carroll has been all over the place during his coaching career, landing with the New York Jets, New England Patriots, University of Southern California and most recently, the Seattle Seahawks.

And while the Seahawks job is likely Carroll's last stop as a head coach (he's 65), Carroll reportedly admitted in a call to former assistant Ed Orgeron that LSU is the one job he always wanted, via NOLAcom:

"He (Carroll) said, 'Coach that's a place I always wanted to coach, LSU. You are coaching in my favorite place and one of my favorite players was Tommy Casanova.'

It's too bad Carroll is locked up through 2019 in Seattle, or else athletic director Joe Alleva may have come calling.
