Joe Montana takes aim at Patriots, Tom Brady's alleged cheating ways

I guess Tom Brady is really living up to his idol.

Following months of DeflateGate talks, Tom Brady's four-game suspension was wiped out and it seemed the New England Patriots' alleged cheating ways had fallen by the wayside.

During a conversation with NFL Network's Andrew Siciliano, all of that was brought right back out of the dark shadows of NFL conversations, per Pro Football Talk:

"They always say, 'If you ain't cheating you ain't trying.' So they're trying hard," Montana said.

"I mean, back then it wasn't illegal but it was illegal, like our guys used to spray — and everybody did it at the time — silicone on their jerseys, the linemen, so that the defensive linemen couldn't get a hold of them. And the defensive linemen did it so the offensive linemen couldn't hold them"

So, it's more of a 'Props to you, Touchdown Tom, we cheated too' instead of picking apart the Patriots for cheating? I guess that's how the NFL works these days.
