If Patrick Peterson has his way, NFL legend Tom Brady won't be stepping into a WWE ring anytime soon.

The former All-Pro cornerback told TMZ Sports he isn't sold on the idea of the seven-time Super Bowl champion making the jump into professional wrestling amid reports Brady has been in discussions with WWE.
"Tom don't wanna go to WWE," Peterson said. "He's a quarterback."
Peterson acknowledged Brady's toughness, saying he had been around the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback over the years.
"I know Tom is a tough guy," Peterson said. "He is a hard-nosed Michigan man. Those Michigan men, they definitely wear their heart on their sleeve, but the WWE, Tom? Just let it be. Just let it be, man."

The comments come after reports linked Brady to ongoing discussions with WWE, including the possibility of an on-screen appearance involving social media star and WWE personality Logan Paul.
Brady, who retired following the 2022 NFL season, has remained in the spotlight through his role as Fox Sports' lead NFL analyst while also becoming a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
Peterson spent 13 seasons in the NFL, earning eight Pro Bowl selections and three first-team All-Pro honors while starring for the Arizona Cardinals before later playing with the Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Whether Brady ultimately makes a WWE appearance remains to be seen, but Peterson made one thing clear: he'd rather watch the future Hall of Fame quarterback stay out of the ring.
