Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold is pushing back hard against reports linking him to a robbery and kidnapping investigation in Florida.

According to his legal team, he had nothing to do with it, as relayed by TMZ.
Arnold's attorney, Timothy Jansen, released a statement saying the second-year Lions defensive back had "no involvement whatsoever" in the alleged crimes. Jansen said Arnold was neither present nor connected to any of the conduct described in the case.
"There is no evidence in police reports, text messages, or witness statements that implicates Mr. Arnold in any way," the statement said.
Jansen also said he spoke directly with prosecutors, who confirmed that no charges have been filed against Arnold.
So why did his name come up at all?
Arnold was mentioned in a court filing tied to another man, Boakai Hilton, who faces multiple charges including kidnapping and armed robbery. According to the court document, Arnold and several friends were staying at an Airbnb when they were allegedly robbed of designer bags, $100,000 in cash, an $80,000 necklace and a phone belonging to Arnold.
The filing claims the group suspected a driver they had hired might be involved.
But Arnold's legal team says the court order that referenced him was misleading and incorrect, including a claim about someone being his girlfriend.
Their message is simple: Arnold denies the allegations completely, and as of now, authorities have not charged him with anything.
