Former NFL Pro Bowl offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie is ready to get back into the league, only this time he wants to work in a front office.

McKinnie told TMZ Sports that he'd like an opportunity to help an NFL team with personnel decisions after spending years watching moves from afar and occasionally wondering what teams are thinking.
"I would like to work in the front office and try to help them out," McKinnie said. "Sometimes I sit there, I'm like, 'Who was making these decisions?'"
McKinnie said he's particularly interested in scouting, recruiting and the NFL Draft.
"Sometimes I just feel like the picks just aren't making sense sometimes," he said.
As for where he'd like to work, the former Minnesota Vikings standout doesn't necessarily sound eager to return to the cold.
"I don't know if I want to live back in Minnesota," McKinnie joked.
Instead, he mentioned the Los Angeles Chargers and Miami Dolphins as possibilities, citing both the weather and his belief that Miami could use some help with personnel decisions.
The 6-foot-8 McKinnie certainly knows what NFL talent looks like.
A first-round pick out of Miami in 2002, McKinnie spent nine seasons with the Vikings and earned Pro Bowl honors following the 2009 season.
He later joined the Baltimore Ravens and helped the franchise win Super Bowl XLVII before finishing his NFL career with the Dolphins in 2013.
Now McKinnie would like an opportunity to evaluate players rather than block them.
Whether an NFL team takes him up on the offer remains to be seen.
