The Kansas City Chiefs are set to appear in their fifth Super Bowl in a six-year span, and all their winning has also been met with much criticism about the NFL referees giving them preferential calls.

That is to say, while fielding media questions ahead of Super Bowl LIV, quarterback Patrick Mahomes was being trolled by a reporter, who asked, "For your whole career you've had so many great people help you win... so who is your favorite ref?"

The 3x Super Bowl champion responded, "All the refs are great, they do the best they can."
One user on X wrote, "He can't name just one cuz he will make the others mad."
Even Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce found himself on the receiving end of a dumb question, as someone asked "What do you love more, 'Taylor Swift or phantom 15-yard roughing the passer penalties in the playoffs?'"
🚨🚨CRAZY QUESTION 🚨🚨
A media member asked Travis Kelce if he loves Taylor Swift or phantom 15-yard roughing the passer penalties in the playoffs more.
😳
This is a crazy question to ask at Super Bowl media night… Kelce was not very happy about it.

In response to the recent accusations that the NFL has some sort of Chiefs bias, refs association executive director Scott Green gave a statement.
"It is insulting and preposterous to hear conspiracy theories that somehow 17 officiating crews, consisting of 138 officials, are colluding to assist one team."
Roger Goodell also called all the talk of it being "scripted/rigged" in the Chiefs' favor a "ridiculous theory"

All in all, Mahomes has had one of the most storied careers before reaching 30 years old, as he already is playing in his fifth Super Bowl, while currently attempting to lead the Chiefs to the first three-peat in NFL history.
