The NFL Draft, which takes place on April 23-25, will span three genres of music. Opening night will feature rapper Wiz Khalifa. Poison frontman Bret Michaels will then take over on the second night of the NFL Draft. County artist Kane Brown will close out the weekend as he performs on April 25.

The move to bring in these specific artists is fitting as the NFL Draft heads to Pittsburgh for the first time. Khalifa and Michaels both hail from the Steel City. Brown started life in the South, but he is a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

"Coming home to Pittsburgh for the Draft is pretty special," Khalifa said in a press release. "This city raised me, and the energy here is different. Being back with the fans and representing the city in a moment like this just feels right."

The annual event where teams build out their rosters has regularly featured prominent artists. Obviously, the picks are the draw for the football fans in attendance at each of the host cities, but the musicians play a major role in making the weekends feel truly special.

The list of past artists includes Tim McGraw, Eminem, Dierks Bentley, Weezer, Brad Paisley, Mötley Crüe, Ice Cube, Marshmello, Kings of Leon, Fall Out Boy, Black Pumas and Big Sean, among many others.

The trend will continue in late April as Khalifa, Michaels, and Brown all take the stage to entertain football fans in Pittsburgh. These performances, which will be free to attend, will take place at the Draft Theater adjacent to Acrisure Stadium. These are first-come, first-served events.

"I cannot be more honored, excited, and fired up to be asked to perform at the Pittsburgh 2026 Draft on Friday night," Michaels said. "As a Pittsburgh native and a diehard fan of the Steelers, the NFL and all things Pittsburgh, this is a dream come true."
