La Canfora said on the Dan Patrick Show that Prescott has a little bit of Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers in him, per Sports Day.

"This kid's an athlete. He's got some Russell Wilson in him. He's got a little Aaron Rodgers in him."

Prescott has performed extremely well in the Cowboys preseason games, so much so that owner Jerry Jones says the team is done looking for other quarterbacks for now. Prescott has completed 22-of-27 passes in two preseason games for 338 yards and six touchdowns.

La Canfora covered Dallas' first preseason game against Los Angeles and said he was impressed by Prescott's throwing ability.

"Just watching from that press box you would see the ball come out of his hands, you would see the touchdown pass to (Terrance) Williams, before that ball hit its arc and started sort of coming down on the other end of the parabola you could already tell that's a perfect throw four yards into the end zone," La Canfora said. "That's a touchdown if this guy holds on to the ball. These were not sort of fluky plays."

Prescott will see more playing time on Thursday night in the Cowboys' preseason game against Seattle.
