The one position with the least amount of clarity entering the NFL Draft is the most important position on the field.

Scouts and analysts can't even determine which quarterback is the best or which QB's are first round picks. Some think it's Mitchell Trubusky, while other believe it is Deshaun Watson, Patrick Mahomes or DeShone Kizer.

Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel thinks Mahomes is the best QB prospect in this class based on what anonymous scouts have told him.
McGinn has Watson ranked No. 2, but one scout told him that Watson is better QB than Dallas Cowboys' quarterback Dak Prescott.
"You can say he's better than Dak Prescott," a third scout said. "Total winner. Highly poised. Top intangibles. Lot of predetermined throws. Going to need a lot of work, like all these guys from the spread."
Another scout said Watson is the No. 1 prospect in this draft because "he's a winner."
The Cowboys drafted Prescott in the fourth round, and he had a highly successful rookie season after taking over for an injured Tony Romo. Watson will likely be drafted by someone in the first round, though it's unclear which teams are interested in taking a QB early.
Watson certainly isn't lacking in confidence, and he naturally thinks he should be the top QB in the draft.
A lot will depend on the team who drafts Watson. Prescott landed in a great offensive situation in Dallas with the best offensive line and an elite running back. If Watson lands in a similar situation, he could have a successful rookie season like Prescott did.
