Pacman Jones Arrested After Jake Paul, Mike Tyson Fight
One of those stars was former Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals cornerback, Adam "Pacman" Jones. But Jones' night ended earlier than he anticipated because he was arrested after the fight according to TMZ.
"Adam "Pacman" Jones' fight night ended in the slammer — the ex-NFL star was arrested early Saturday morning in Arlington, Texas on a number of charges," TMZ wrote.
"In a video obtained by TMZ Sports ... the former NFL star is seen being taken into custody by several police officers inside the Loews Arlington Hotel — which is a short walk from AT&T Stadium, where Jake Paul and Mike Tyson duked it out earlier in the night."
Former NFL Star Hit With Slew of Charges
The outlet also notes that the former NFL star was hit with a slew of charges, but the most significant is an assault on a police officer, which can carry a prison term of 2-10 years in the state of Texas.
"Authorities tell us Pacman was arrested and booked for alleged public intoxication, resisting arrest, evading arrest, and assault on a police officer," TMZ added.
"According to jail records, Pacman is still behind bars ... with a bail amount of $319, which might sound low, but Pacman still needs to appear before a judge who could bump it up ... considerably."
The outlet also reached out to one of the former NFL star's reps about the arrest, and the rep insisted that Jones is "adamantly" denying all of the current charges against him.
"[Pacman] adamantly denies the allegations and looks forward to explaining the truth when the time comes," the rep said.
"Like thousands of other people in Dallas last night, Pac was in town for the fight and was enjoying himself, spending time with the fans. Pacman was returning to his hotel to wind down for the evening. He was not looking for trouble."
