NFL Fans Livid After Taylor Swift Meets With Referee

With the Chiefs being the best team in the NFL this season, the stars were in attendance. The most notable celebrity in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium was pop star Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs' tight end Travis Kelce. Before the game, Swift met with Sarah Thomas, one of the referees of Chiefs/Broncos game.

However, some fans were not that thrilled about the meeting noting it could be an ethical issue.

"We been known the Chiefs got the refs in their pockets," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"Conflict of Interest," another fan added.

Tom Brady Gets Honest on Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes

Kansas City's campaign to become the NFL's first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls is very much alive. The Chiefs stand alone as the NFL's one unblemished team, with a record of 8-0.

And their journey to being undefeated has been no walk in the park either. They have faced some of the most talented teams in the NFL this season including the Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons, and San Francisco 49ers. Even more impressive is that the Chiefs have done so all while dealing with a slew of injuries to their roster.

In addition, Chiefs' quarterback Patrick Mahomes' numbers have taken a significant dip, toeing the line of being pedestrian. However, even though Mahomes has seemed to take a step back, NFL legend Tom Brady says the way he continues to find ways to win has been most impressive.

"But what I love about his game is he's just finding ways to win. I just think he's doing whatever he needs to help this team win," Brady said.

"And he knows he's got a defense that's going to limit points, limit yards, and when you have that, it's just a different mentality for a quarterback. He doesn't have to feel like he goes out there and it's like bombs over Baghdad. He just takes what they give him. If it's not there, he throws it away. Plays field position. Get some contributions in special teams and just an all-around great team effort for a great team win."
