Cam Newton was roughed up Thursday night, taking helmet shot after helmet shot in what developed into a truly brutal contest against the Denver Broncos.

According to the USA Today, the senior vice president of officiating, Dean Blandino reviewed the contest and found just one of the four helmet shots should have been flagged and wasn't.

Newton was quiet after the contest, but his teammate Thomas Davis had no problem calling out officials for their mishandling of the contest.
