No one bid on Jay Cutler's autographed football at Chicago charity event

Jay Cutler may be the most-hated player in Chicago sports. For one, his $100+ million contract is nowhere near his play on the field, as he is one of the worst starting quarterbacks in the league. But this is probably the biggest example of how low his stock is in Chicago.

Cutler signed a football for a pet-adoption charity event. The opening bid for his football started at $100, but no one bid on the ball, according to the Chicago Tribune. Not one person in attendance thought Cutler's football would be a great gift for someone or for their own collection.

To make things worse, a book by photographer Bruce Weber fetched $120.

But there is a good ending for the Cutler ball, when news broke that no one bid on the football, an anonymous person bought the autographed ball for $100.
