Alleged OJ Admission of Guilt Caught on Tape
On Tuesday, Minnesota police claimed to have possession of a thumb drive containing a recording of Simpson confessing to the 1994 murders. The purported thumb drive was reportedly found in a green backpack seized in 2022 during the arrest of Iroc Avelli, Simpson's former bodyguard, as part of an unrelated investigation.
In June 2024, two months after Simpson died, officers in Minnesota received a call from an LAPD detective who advised the force that Avelli and his attorney had told them that a thumb drive they confiscated contained a recording of Simpson confessing.
Bloomington Police have since accessed the thumb drive and determined there was no confession from Simpson at all, and that it was full of recordings of Avelli talking to himself.
With the being the newest OJ development, fans weighed in with reactions on Twitter.
"OJ says he didn't do it, but if he had, THIS is how he would do it," one person said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"Still feel so bad for the Goldman's and the Brown family," another person added.
Analyst Hits Back Amid Simpson Slander
As one of the most controversial celebrities ever, O.J. earned himself some enemies during his lifetime. And that became even more apparent after his death. Following Simpson's passing reality star Caitlyn Jenner bid the former football star farewell with a chilling "good riddance," tweet.
Rapper turned sports analyst Cam'ron, who hosts It is What it Is — a sports program where Simpson was a regular took exception to Jenner's comments and did not hesitate to hit back.
"I seen m***********g Caitlyn Jenner write some s**t—'Good riddance.' Caitlyn Jenner, you killed n**as in Calabasas [while] talking 'bout paparazzi was chasing you," Cam'ron said, referencing Jenner's fatal 2015 car crash which left one person dead.
"And you was Bruce! Nothing to do with transgender shit or nothing like that, but I'm just trying to say the paparazzi wasn't on Bruce to where you had to be running to kill n***as. You ain't Princess Di[ana], n***a. The fuck you mean the paparazzi was on you, n***a?"
