One of the best trash talkers in the NFL has landed his next job

Steve Smith will now be doing all his talking on TV

Steve Smith, Sr.was known around the NFL as a world class smack talker. The newly-retired and former Baltimore Ravens and North Carolina Panthers wide receiver will now be taking that gift of gab to television.

Quoting an anonymous source, the biglead.com is reporting that Smith will be joining the NFL Network as a studio analyst. He adds another colorful voice to an on-air team that already includes fellow outspoken personalities, and former NFL trash talkers, Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders.

Smith retired this past season after 16 highly productive years in the league, in which he was selected to five Pro Bowls and made First Team All-Pro twice. His 14,731 receiving yards rank him seventh on the NFL's career receiving yards list, and his 1,031 receptions rank 12th all-time.
