The New Orleans Saints have struggled in each of the last three seasons, and they could be looking to part ways with coach Sean Payton this offseason.

The Saints likely won't fire Payton, but they could look to trade him this offseason. According to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, the Saints might not be looking for much in return for Payton.
Payton signed a contract extension after last season, but the Saints are currently 5-7 after finishing 7-9 in each of the last two seasons. Several teams could be interested in Payton's services, including the Los Angeles Rams and San Diego Chargers. The Indianapolis Colts reportedly were interested in Payton last offseason, but they decided to extend Chuck Pagano.
Payton is a California native, so the Chargers and Rams could both make sense if San Diego parts ways with Mike McCoy. The Saints are in a bad salary cap situation, and unloading Payton's contract could help with the finances tremendously.
