One video should have the rest of the NFL on notice

He was expected to be a first-round pick.

The Dallas Cowboys may have overachieved in 2016 as whole, but they're going to be even better come next season.

While some of that can be attributed to Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott having a year under their belts, the Cowboys are also expected to get elite linebacker Jaylon Smith on the field.

Smith is beginning to regain feeling in his leg and shared this video on Friday where he appears good to go:

Smith, who was expected to be a top-10 pick before suffering an ACL and MCL injury in Notre Dame's Fiesta Bowl, saw his stock plummet to the second round.

"I'm getting my 4.4 speed back, I'll tell you that," Smith said, via 247sports. "That's how well I'm moving.

"You wouldn't be able to tell [I was rehabbing] if you saw me run."

Hopefully Smith is able to get his chance in the NFL, because he was one of the most talented linebackers in college football before the injury. In his final two seasons with the Fighting Irish, Smith recorded 225 total tackles and 18.0 tackles for loss.
