It was "Family Night," meaning fans of the Green Bay Packers were on hand to celebrate the team. Instead, it was the team who celebrated a fan.

That fan just happened to be a young man named Trace Ramirez, and he was among the 60,000 at Lambeau Field to take in the Packers' annual "Family Night" scrimmage.
A few young fans were invited onto the field to take part in some of the drills. Ramirez was among them.
"Ramirez didn't waste his chance to impress both the Packers players and the tens of thousands of fans in attendance," wrote R.P. Salao of Larry Brown Sports. "He caught three straight punts while somehow managing to hold on to each ball at the same time."
After that third catch, the entire Packers squad raced toward Ramirez, gathering around him and celebrating wildly.

"The Packers have built themselves a young, talented squad that could potentially be a dark horse contender this season," Salao wrote. "With Jordan Love now under contract for the foreseeable future, Green Bay has a chance to be in contention for quite some time. And if the Packers ever need a punt returner down the line, perhaps they could give Ramirez and his magnetic hands a call."
The Packers open the NFL preseason on Saturday with a visit to the Cleveland Browns. They visit the Philadelphia Eagles on Sept. 6 for the regular-season opener.
In the meantime, they can already celebrate their first big win from someone in a Packers helmet. You know Ramirez sure will be, and rightfully so.
