After Green Bay's 35-25 win over the Steelers on Sunday night, fans noticed something unusual. Namely, Golden's Instagram account had vanished.

By Monday morning, the first-round pick's profile was deactivated, sparking plenty of speculation that the rookie may be frustrated with his early struggles and the noise that's come with them.

Golden caught just three passes for four yards in the win, continuing what's been a quiet debut year.

Through seven games, he's managed only 21 catches and has yet to score a touchdown. The flashes are there, but the consistency isn't, and the opportunities might be shrinking fast.

With Christian Watson back from a torn ACL and Tucker Kraft emerging as a favorite target (7 catches, 143 yards, and 2 touchdowns against Pittsburgh), Golden's snaps could dip even further. Add in the looming return of Jayden Reed, and Green Bay's receiving room is suddenly crowded again.

Quarterback Jordan Love looked sharp Sunday, throwing for 360 yards and three scores — just not in Golden's direction.

It's not uncommon for rookies to hit rough patches, especially in a deep offense like this one. But deactivating social media usually says what words don't. As in, frustration's setting in, and Golden might be feeling the weight of expectation in a city that notices everything.
