Panthers Owner David Tepper Throws Drink at Jaguars Fan

It has been a frustrating season for the Carolina Panthers, and Sunday afternoon Panthers owner David Tepper reached his breaking point.

At one point during the Panthers' 26-0 shutout loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tepper tossed a drink on Jaguars fans sitting in front of his suite at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville.

In the video above, Tepper tosses his drink at the fans and then seems to walk away in disgust, which is an awful look for a billionaire NFL owner.

Sunday's loss is the latest disappointment for the Panthers, in one of the more disappointing seasons in franchise history.

Tepper and the Panthers fired head coach Frank Reich on Nov. 27, just 11 games into his first season at the helm, as Carolina limped to a 1-10 start. Meanwhile, Bryce Young, chosen No. 1 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Panthers has failed to live up to expectations.

Young has completed just 59.7 percent of his passes for 2,783 yards with 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 14 games, just as Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud — chose one pick after Young — has led a charge for the NFL Offensive Rookie of The Year.

Adding insult to injury, and obviously compounding Tepper's frustrations, Carolina's loss clinches the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft for the Chicago Bears, who acquired the selection in a blockbuster trade the Panthers orchestrated ... to select Young.

Once the season ends, Tepper will be charged with hiring yet another head coach, having fired three since purchasing the team in 2018. First things first, the 2-14 Panthers close out the regular season next Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Clearly, Tepper has seen enough of his team's struggles, and heard enough heckling from the fans sitting in front of him at Sunday's game.
