Mahomes connected with wide receiver Justin Watson for a 6-yard touchdown on Friday afternoon. This was his 238th career touchdown pass in a Chiefs uniform, and it broke his tie with Hall of Famer Len Dawson for the most in franchise history.
Mahomes is now the all-time franchise leader in multiple categories. He has the most passing yards in Chiefs history (31,097), the most completions (2,652), and the highest completion percentage (66.8%). He has reached these numbers in a mere 107 games while leading the Chiefs to three championships.

The former Texas Tech quarterback has no shortage of success against the Las Vegas Raiders. He entered Friday's game with a record of 11-2 against the Silver and Black and 32 touchdown passes. This dominant stretch includes four games where he threw at least four touchdowns.
Friday's game also marked the 14th consecutive matchup in which Mahomes has thrown a touchdown against the Raiders. This tied Bill quarterback Josh Allen's mark against the Dolphins.
Mahomes was not the only member of the Chiefs with an opportunity to break a record entering Friday's game. Tight end Travis Kelce entered the AFC West matchup tied with Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez for the most receiving touchdowns in franchise history. Both players caught 76 touchdown passes while wearing the red jerseys.
All Kelce needed to do was catch one touchdown pass from Mahomes — or another player — to reach 77 as a member of the Chiefs and set the franchise record.
Kelce previously broke another of Gonzalez's franchise records when he topped 10,940 receiving yards. He has gone on to reach 11,897 receiving yards.
With Mahomes and Kelce continuing to play at this level, it's expected that they will continue to break records together and set new benchmarks for future members of the Chiefs.
