Patrick Mahomes Brings TV To Training Camp To Play 'College Football NCAA 25'

As the Kansas City Chiefs get set to start their NFL training camp, superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes decided it would be a good idea to bring his television, so he can play video games.

Notably, this is the first time Mahomes has ever thought about bringing his TV.

"This is my first year I'm bringing a TV. I haven't brought a TV ever before, but NCAA came out, and I'm going to have to turn it on," Mahomes said. "I brought a TV for NCAA and the Olympics, that's my first year ever doing that."

Almost everyone can relate, as the EA sports franchise video game hasn't been released in over a decade, with NCAA 14 being the last college football game, so considering this, the arrival of NCAA 25 has been highly anticipated.

To point out, Mahomes may be able to make the excuse to head coach Andy Reid that this will be a team-bonding moment.

"I think it's just the relationships, I mean when you are all in this together, every single step of the way, I mean you have to build friendships or you're gonna hate each other," Mahomes said.

"Being in the building... always kind of being around the guys, you build this kind of culture and family-type brotherhood, so I'm excited to do that with a lot of new faces and then with guys who have been here before, cause we know this is what it takes for us to go out there and be great."

The Chiefs are coming off their LVIII Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco 49ers, so the defending champs, and in particular 3x Super Bowl winner Mahomes, knows what it takes to be great, and this season that includes playing video games.

The release date for EA Sports College Football NCAA 25 is set for July 19, but by pre-ordering the deluxe edition, you can play now with early access.
