After the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills 32-29, Quarterback Patrick Mahomes' father surprised many with his post on X.

"Today is a great day to not be from Buffalo," it still reads on Mahomes Sr.'s X account.
Now after receiving backlash for his comments, it appears that Mahomes is claiming that he is not the one who wrote that.
In a statement released on his IG, the 53-year-old said: "Haven't been on X/Twitter for years. My account was hacked and I do not have access to it. Plz disregard any tweets from @PMahomes."

Although, this wasn't the only post that Mahomes made, as he referenced that the Chiefs will be heading to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX, in which they will take on the Philadelphia Eagles.

That is to say, there are a lot of skeptics, who are not buying his story.
Certainly, there doesn't appear to be any differences between these tweets and how Patrick Mahomes' dad normally talks.
One user wrote: "Lol nothing was hacked, that's how he types/talks."
While another guy made a joke about his repeated DWI arrests.
"Mahomes Sr. also claimed his car was hacked and he hasn't driven it in years," he wrote.
For those who don't know, just last year around this time, ahead of Super Bowl LVIII, Mahomes Sr. was arrested for driving while impaired, but ultimately was able to watch his son play in the big game, as Mahomes Jr. had 399 total yards and two touchdowns in the 25-22 overtime win vs. the San Francisco 49ers.

Now the Chiefs will attempt to win their third Super Bowl in a row on January 9, 2025... something that has never been done before in NFL history.
