One of New England's top offensive weapons expected to be out for Thursday Night Football

This is real bad.

The New England Patriots have not been off to a great start this year at 2-2 with a floundering defense that gives the offense absolutely no help. Now, the offense is taking a huge hit as tight end Rob Gronkowski is not expected to play Thursday night against Tampa Bay.

He is dealing with a thigh contusion according to Adam Schefter. The big tight end and three-time Pro Bowler has had 20 catches for 318 yards two touchdowns so far this season. He's a huge target in the red zone and makes Tom Brady's life much easier in the passing game. It looks like the quarterback will have to spread the ball around a little more now.
