Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs is facing serious allegations from his ex-girlfriend, Mulan Hernandez, as part of a growing legal battle between the two.

Earlier this year, Diggs filed a lawsuit in Harris County, Texas, against Hernandez — whose real name is Mia Jones — and another woman, Brianna "Brii" Mack. The lawsuit accused both women of damaging his property, threatening him with a deadly weapon, and attempting to extort him for millions of dollars. According to Diggs, the dispute stemmed from a June 2024 altercation during which Hernandez allegedly struck him in the chest and head before refusing to leave his residence.
Now, Hernandez has filed a countersuit, claiming Diggs was the aggressor that night. Court documents obtained by Us Weekly allege that Diggs punched her in the back of the head with a closed fist and then tried to pressure her into signing a non-disclosure agreement "almost immediately" afterward.
Hernandez says she was later diagnosed with a concussion and is seeking unspecified damages for physical and emotional distress, along with reimbursement for medical expenses.
Hernandez, a 24-year-old reality TV personality who appeared on Basketball Wives Orlando, said her attorney first contacted Diggs in November 2024 to hold him accountable for the alleged assault — a move that Diggs' lawsuit framed as part of an extortion attempt.
The 31-year-old wide receiver, now in his first season with New England after signing a three-year, $69 million deal, is off to a strong start on the field. He caught 10 passes for 146 yards in the Patriots' upset win over the Bills on Sunday night. But off the field, Diggs' situation appears to be getting more complicated.
In addition to the countersuit, he's also facing a paternity case recently filed by an Instagram model, even as he and rapper Cardi B are expecting a child together.
